This is a full-time, permanent role (39 hours per week) with an annual salary of €32,691.00.

This role is ideal for caring, reliable individuals with a genuine interest in supporting older people. Previous experience in the care sector or experience caring for a vulnerable person is desirable. A qualification equivalent to QQI Level 5 – Care Skills and Care of the Elderly is an advantage but not essential, as training can be facilitated following employment.

- Availability to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis, including weekends and bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of holistic, person-centred care
- Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing
- Provide direct personal care in line with individual care plans
- Support residents with daily living activities and recreational programmes
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team
