As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team and play a key role across product sourcing, purchasing, forecasting, supplier management, inventory planning and new product development.

THE ROLE
As Buyer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end purchasing function across all brands within the business.
You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to ensure products are sourced, developed, launched and replenished successfully. This role combines buying, supply chain, forecasting, supplier management, logistics, critical path management and project management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems and taking ownership across purchasing, forecasting, supplier management and product launches.
**Please note: Previous buying experience within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare or personal care industry is essential. Applications without relevant beauty industry buying experience will not be considered.**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Development & Sourcing
* Source and develop products, packaging and components across all brands.
* Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers, manufacturers and packaging partners.
* Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms and supply agreements.
* Manage product sampling, development and production processes.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and emerging trends.
* Support innovation and new product development initiatives across all brands.
Buying & Inventory Management
* Manage product replenishment and purchasing across all brands.
* Raise and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
* Monitor stock levels and inventory performance to ensure product availability.
* Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to forecast demand and maintain optimum stock levels.
* Analyse sales trends and purchasing requirements to minimise stock shortages and excess inventory.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records and reporting.
Supplier Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and packaging partners.
* Manage supplier performance to ensure quality, pricing and delivery expectations are consistently met.
* Resolve supplier issues and drive continuous improvements.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased efficiencies throughout the supply chain.
Critical Path Management
* Own and manage supplier critical paths from concept through to launch.
* Ensure all projects remain on schedule and within budget.
* Coordinate timelines across suppliers, design, compliance, logistics and internal teams.
* Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to avoid delays.
Logistics & Supply Chain
* Manage inbound freight and logistics across all brands.
* Coordinate shipments with suppliers and freight partners.
* Monitor delivery schedules and resolve supply chain challenges.
* Ensure products are delivered accurately on time and within budget.
Compliance & Product Administration
* Work closely with Compliance and Regulatory teams to ensure all products meet relevant standards and requirements.
* Maintain accurate product specifications, supplier documentation and compliance records.
* Ensure all product files and documentation are complete, organised and up to date.
* Support quality control processes and supplier audits where required.
Reporting & Analysis
* Monitor product performance, stock levels and sales data.
* Analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare reports, forecasts and recommendations for senior management.
* Support strategic business planning through accurate purchasing and inventory reporting.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced beauty Buyer with a minimum of 3–5 years' experience within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare or personal care industry. You have a proven track record in sourcing products, managing suppliers, negotiating pricing and overseeing inventory planning within a fast-paced environment.
You have a strong understanding of cosmetic product development, packaging, manufacturing processes and supply chain management, with experience managing products from initial concept through to launch and replenishment. You are commercially minded, highly organised and confident managing multiple projects and critical paths simultaneously.
You possess excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills, allowing you to work effectively with suppliers, manufacturers and internal stakeholders. You are analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable using data to support purchasing decisions, forecasting and stock planning.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with experience using purchasing, inventory management and forecasting systems. Knowledge of cosmetic compliance and regulatory requirements would be a distinct advantage.
