The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults quickly and effectively
- Minimising downtime and supporting continuous production
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Maintaining maintenance records and spare parts inventory
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a hands-on, proactive individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter, ideally within food manufacturing or a production environment
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Experience maintaining production and packaging machinery
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts/weekends when required
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
