Procurement Manager
A well-known contractor in Co. Meath has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join the team.
The position is responsible for establishing and managing the company's procurement function, ensuring that purchasing activities deliver value for money, support project delivery, and comply with company procedures and industry requirements. The role works closely with Quantity Surveying (QS), Finance, suppliers, and project teams.
Industry Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in residential and/or commercial construction procurement in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and supply chains.
- Proven procurement savings and cost-control achievements.
- Experience negotiating with construction suppliers and manufacturers.
- Understanding of QS processes and construction budgets.
- Knowledge of BCAR documentation requirements.
- Experience managing procurement schedules across multiple projects.
- Strong supplier relationship management and commercial awareness.
This is a new appointment for the organisation.
An excellent salary package will be tailored to the successful Procurement Manager.
