Blackbird Strandhill are looking for an experienced Cafe Manager to help continue the growth and success of this new business.
Blackbird is a Bakery, Cafe & Coffee Roaster based right by the sea in Strandhill Co.Sligo. Operating for one year, we have exploded in popularity and are now looking for the right candidate to help bring us into the next stage of expansion!
The role will be as general cafe manager, reporting only to the owners and will be required to oversee all day to day operations of the cafe.

- Liasing with local suppliers and representatives to command the best pricing and products offered.
We hope for the successful candidate to begin working and learning the ins and outs of the cafe in mid july, with the full responsibilities of the position undertaken in late August.
Are candidate must have
- Great knowledge of coffee and experience as a barista
- Consider themselves a friendly and out-going person,
- Work very well as a team
- Good team/people management skills
- Extensive experience in food and beverage industry (not necessarily in this role)
This role will be fully hands-on and well as the managerial side of the responsibilities we expect the successful candidate to work day to day with the team, on the cafe floor, overseeing and waiting.
