We are now looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our factory and production areas, helping to provide a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out industrial cleaning duties throughout the factory and designated production areas.

Sweeping and cleaning factory floors, walkways and operational areas.

Removing dust, debris and general waste from production areas.
-
Cleaning designated machinery surrounds, equipment areas and work areas where required and safe to do so.

Cleaning hard-to-reach areas where required using approved equipment and safe working methods.

Emptying factory waste bins and disposing of waste and recyclable materials in designated areas.

Responding promptly and safely to spillages and other cleaning requirements.

Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring it is stored correctly after use.

Monitoring cleaning materials and reporting when supplies require replenishment.

Following all site Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with training and manufacturer instructions.

Wearing all required PPE when carrying out cleaning duties.

Reporting hazards, defects, spillages or Health & Safety concerns identified during your work.

Completing cleaning records and checklists as required.

Carrying out other reasonable industrial cleaning duties as required.

Previous experience in industrial, factory, manufacturing or similar cleaning is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience using industrial cleaning equipment would be advantageous.

An understanding of workplace Health & Safety and the safe use of cleaning products is desirable.
