Festival Administrator – Waterford Festival of Food CLG
Waterford Festival of Food CLG is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Festival Manager to support the Festival Director in the planning and delivery of the annual Waterford Festival of Food and associated Taste Waterford initiatives.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines administration, project coordination, bookkeeping, communications and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the organisation and in delivering a high-quality festival experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and office management support.
Maintain financial records, bookkeeping and invoicing (SAGE experience desirable).
Coordinate festival programmes, event logistics and stakeholder communications.
Make grant applications, sponsorship administration and post-event reporting.
Support volunteers, contractors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of festival projects.
About You:
Highly organised with excellent administrative and time management skills.
Experience in bookkeeping and familiarity with financial documents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of the food, hospitality or tourism sector is an advantage.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, particularly in the lead-up to and during the Festival.

The annual rhythm of work means that it is full time for 3-4 months leading up to the festival in April , with minimal hours required June July and August.
Pay: €25,000.00-€29,000.00 per year
