Coast Rosslare Strand is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, learn new techniques, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute ideas to menu development and culinary innovation.
- Deliver exceptional dishes that exceed guest expectations.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements:
- A passion for food and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
