Job Description F&B Staff
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Greet and seat customers, take food and beverage orders, serve meals and drinks, and respond to guest inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Food & Beverage Preparation: Assist with food preparation, maintain buffet or table setups, and ensure presentation meets quality standards.
- Event Support: Set up dining areas, tables, and service stations for events such as weddings, corporate meetings, or conferences, and clean up afterward.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations, check age for alcohol service, and maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
- Operational Duties: Restock supplies, organize mise-en-place tasks, handle cash or POS transactions, and report issues to supervisors or managers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, bartenders, and other staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure a safe dining environment and follow safety and sanitation policies.
- These responsibilities may vary depending on the specific role within the F&B department.
