We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Assistant to join our busy DIY/retail store on a full-time basis.
This is a key role within the store, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, supporting the day-to-day operation of the business and contributing to the ongoing success and performance of the team. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of store operations, including sales transactions, stock control, ordering, merchandising and maintaining high standards of presentation throughout the store.
The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, and possess strong retail sales experience. Previous experience in stock ordering and visual merchandising is essential, along with excellent computer and administrative skills. You will be confident working independently, demonstrating initiative and supporting colleagues to achieve store objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven retail sales experience, ideally within a busy retail environment
- Experience in stock ordering and merchandising
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy and attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively and contribute positively to a team environment
- Tuesday - Saturday
