About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality early years care and education. You will create engaging learning opportunities, support children’s holistic development, and work in line with Ireland’s national frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Síolta.
- Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Observe, document, and assess children’s progress to support individual learning journeys.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment in accordance with Tusla Early Years Regulations.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in team meetings, continuous professional development, and setting initiatives.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a minimum Level 5 QQI qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 6 or higher desirable).
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Is creative, patient, and adaptable.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
- Has experience in an early years setting (desirable but not always essential).
