We are recruiting an experienced Registered General Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab for a leading private hospital in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with acute hospital experience who is looking to develop further within a specialist cardiac environment, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Essential Requirements
- Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- Previous experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab or relevant specialist cardiac/procedural area in an acute Irish hospital
- Strong clinical and professional competence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Good IT skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Existing legal right to work in Ireland

Desirable
- Relevant specialist or postgraduate nursing qualification
- Experience in procedural or cardiac nursing
- Strong clinical decision-making and organisational skills
- Knowledge of clinical risk management and quality improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality patient care
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
- Prepare and support patients before, during and following procedures
- Work closely with Consultants, Clinical Nurse Managers and the multidisciplinary team
- Respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work in accordance with hospital policies and NMBI professional standards
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety and ongoing professional development
