We are currently looking to recruit a part qualified Accountant,
This is a permanent full time role within with our expanding Hospitality Group and is based in Dublin City Centre
We are seeking an experienced candidate who is a confident self-starter and has the skillset to hit the ground running and become a pivotal part of the team.
This role may suit a candidate seeking a move from practice to industry and is a fantastic opportunity to own and develop this role as your own in an expanding and evolving company.
Seeking experience in the following areas
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts, including – purchase invoice processing, creditor reconciliations, bank reconciliations, stock adjustments, prepayments and accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Timely Vat Return preparation and submission
- Monthly Supplier payment runs
- Production of weekly Sales Report and reconciliation of daily sales receipts
- KPI Reporting & Analysis
- Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and policies
- Holiday Cover for Payroll processing – simple payroll execution for a number of venues
- Ad-hoc reporting & query handling
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an Accounts office of trading entity in the Hospitality Sector is an advantage but not essential;
- Working towards a Professional Accountancy Qualification
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and good attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong Excel skills and a good knowledge of other MS Office applications
- Experience using SAGE 50 accounts
- Payroll systems in use are Bizimply Time Management and Payday payroll software
- Experience of using ROS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English is essentialOffice based role
- Salary €35,000 – €38,000 DOE
