We are looking for a hands-on, technically strong Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst to join our Actuarial & Portfolio Management team within the CUO office. Working closely with the senior members of the team, you will assist in all matters related to the development of the underwriting performance management framework. You will get broad exposure to diverse lines of business, and the chance to grow into portfolio analysis and pricing work as the team scales.
Core Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and data flows feeding portfolio management processes
Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation, establishing robust checks
Assist with the development and refinement of forward-looking KPIs (e.g. price adequacy and risk adjusted rate change) under the guidance of more senior colleagues
Manage and maintain rating tools in close collaboration with underwriting colleagues: version control, testing, implementing rate changes, and supporting their digitisation into modern platforms
Lead the production of data submission packs and regular portfolio monitoring packs for carrier partners
Assist with exposure and mix analyses and with claim frequency and severity investigations
Build and maintain dashboards and MI (e.g. Power BI or similar)
Document processes, tools, and data definitions as they are built, so the team scales on solid foundations
