What You'll Do
- Design and execute a seasonal menu that showcases both classic and regional Indian dishes, from fragrant biryanis to delicate chaats.
- Prepare and cook dishes with precision, balancing flavours and textures to perfection.
- Innovate with modern plating and presentation while respecting traditional recipes.
- Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and all health & safety regulations.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel.
- Deep knowledge of Indian spices, regional cooking styles, and traditional preparation methods (e.g., tandoor cooking, slow curries, dosa batter fermentation).
- Creativity in menu development and presentation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
