The Marist (Chanel) Community House is supported by a dedicated team of long-standing staff who contribute to the wellbeing of our community through cooking, cleaning, and care.
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to assist with meal preparation while our regular cook is unavailable
Contract Duration
- Initial term: 3 months
- Possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a main meal and dessert daily for 6–10 community members
- Plan simple, nutritious, and balanced meals
- Manage kitchen supplies and ingredients, including basic stock control
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Contribute to a warm, respectful, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in cooking for small groups (professional or home-based)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while being part of a community setting
