General Manager - Hospitality & Catering Operations
I'm delighted to be partnering with a leading, well-established Irish catering organisation to recruit a General Manager for a high-profile client site in Limerick. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to take full ownership of a busy, dynamic operation and really make their mark.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action - leading from the front, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional food and service every day. You'll have real influence over both the operational and commercial success of the site, while working closely with a key client in a fast-paced, professional environment.
This is primarily a
Monday to Friday role, with some flexibility required to support key events and business needs.

Lead the day-to-day running of a busy corporate catering and hospitality operation
-
Take ownership of financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and cost control
-
Manage, support, and develop a team across both kitchen and front-of-house
-
Ensure consistently high standards across food quality, presentation, and customer experience
-
Oversee the smooth delivery of meetings, corporate events, and hospitality services
-
Stay visible on the floor, supporting your team and ensuring everything runs seamlessly
-
Look for ways to improve service, streamline operations, and introduce new ideas
-
Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers
-
Ensure all food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards are met
-
Monitor performance and reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement
What We're Looking For
-
Experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within catering or hospitality
-
Strong commercial understanding, including experience managing budgets or P&L
-
A background in both kitchen and front-of-house operations
-
Experience delivering corporate catering, meetings, and events
-
A hands-on leader who enjoys motivating and developing teams
-
Confident communicator with strong organisational and people skills
-
Solid understanding of food safety and health & safety standards
-
Someone who thrives in a busy, client-facing environment
Why You'll Love This Role
-
Monday to Friday structure with flexibility when needed
-
A high-profile client site with plenty of variety day-to-day
-
The opportunity to take real ownership and make a visible impact
-
A supportive and established organisation behind you
-
A role where no two days are the same
