The Role
As a
Systems Administrator you will provide technical support to users which will include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues. You will help with the installation of software and hardware and assist with system upgrades. In this role you will regularly provide maintenance of organizational assets (computers, laptops, peripherals). This will involve performing routine checks and upgrades, repairing hardware, and keeping systems up-to-date and secure. You will also ensure systems are secure and adhering to the company’s security policies.
Key responsibilities:-
Provide Desktop Support for Internal Users and improve delivery of service to end users.

Provided level 1 & 2 technical support and reported escalated issues to the Desktop Support Manager.

Install antivirus software, monitor for breaches, and educate users on safe practices.

Vulnerability remediation on end-user machines to keep the applications up to date.

Assisting users on returning the old or off-boarded employee PC’s to IT.

Asset management (Asset tagging or scanning, updating the Asset database with all changes performed or reported to maintain up-to-date and valid data in the Customer CMDB).

Adhere to the customer SLA’s and target achievement on every month

Support on Hardware issues for under-warranty machines and follow-up with the 3rd party vendor.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proficient in computer operating systems.
-
Knowledge on remediating the non-compliance machines.
-
Knowledge on Adding, Move, Change, Update, and Reassign of devices in stock.

Manage hardware and software break-fix services for laptops and desktops.
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Bit locker encryption service.
-
Strong Knowledge of VPN services.
-
Basic knowledge of using Active Directory to join machines into the customer domain.

Troubleshooting knowledge on Microsoft Office applications.
-
Basic or Strong Knowledge on MAC OS troubleshooting
-
Basic troubleshooting on Videoconferencing/Projector/Scanner and Printer issues.

Strong and extensive troubleshooting skills on Windows 10/11 OS imaging and re-imaging.
-
Knowledge on updating service now inventory.
-
Proficient in handling/troubleshooting Mac and Windows.

In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems.
-
Basic knowledge on Active Directory.

Basic knowledge on Wi-fi troubleshooting.
