Spice Delight Limited T/A Golden Fork is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant and Catering Establishment Manager to join our team at 4A Bridge Street, Killeglad, Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high operational standards, supervising staff, managing stock and inventory, controlling operational costs, and supporting the continued growth and success of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Prepare staff rotas, allocate duties, and monitor employee performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and professionally handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards in coordination with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Manage stock levels, supplier orders, inventory records, and minimise wastage.
- Control food costs, labour costs, and other operational expenses to maximise profitability.
- Monitor restaurant sales, budgets, and overall business performance.
- Maintain accurate staffing, stock, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and company policies.
- Support menu planning, promotional activities, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure restaurant equipment and premises are properly maintained.
- Prepare operational and performance reports for company directors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years' experience in restaurant, catering, or hospitality management.
- A relevant qualification in hospitality, restaurant management, or business management is desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Experience in stock control, supplier management, budgeting, and restaurant operations.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
