Social Care Worker – (Full-Time Permanent, Home-Based)
Fostering First Ireland (FFI) is seeking a compassionate and committed Social Care Worker to join our team. This is a home-based role with flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and foster carers.
If you are interested in the post you must reside in the Greater Dublin area to allow access to the caseload.

What You’ll Do
· Provide trauma informed support to children who live with FFI foster carers.
· Promote children’s participation in FFI and ensure children are afforded opportunities to have their voices heard.
· Support foster carers to understand and respond to the impact of trauma through relationship-based, strengths-focused parenting practices.
· Contribute to the development of children’s services through the provision of training and resources in response to the identified needs of children and carers.
What We’re Looking For
- A CORU registered Social Care Worker
- A self-starter who is flexible, empathetic, and collaborative.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
- A trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to practice
- Must reside in the specified location to support foster carers and children effectively.

Pay: €40,351.00-€56,650.00 per year
