Fibber McGee's Steakhouse at the 4-Star Bunratty Castle Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is committed to service excellence, team development, and operational success.
About the Role
As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy restaurant. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and the bar manager, you will lead, motivate, and develop the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire the restaurant team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support the daily operation of Fibber McGee's Steakhouse, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Assist with staff scheduling, labour management, and performance management.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly and positively.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and hotel management teams to achieve operational excellence and revenue targets.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage operations
- A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful team.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Experience in a 4-star hotel or premium restaurant environment is highly desirable.
