About the Role
This role is advertised via FutureCare, a sister company within the Lincoln Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PIC to step into a leadership role within a residential service supporting children and young people. The role is offered on behalf of a growing residential care provider. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team leadership within the residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential service, including staffing and rostering
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Social Care Workers
- Ensure all care practices meet HIQA standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for young people
- Manage administrative duties including reporting, audits, and financial oversight
- Liaise effectively with external stakeholders including social workers and multidisciplinary teams
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for all young people in care
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience working in a residential setting with children or young people (post qualification)
- Minimum level 7 Social Care qualification, or related qualification
- Strong leadership, organisational, and supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practice, and risk management
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies, including social work departments
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- CORU registration Required
