Practice Operations & Improvement Coordinator
Conall Dunne & Company and Smart Accounting Ireland are a growing and progressive cloud-based accountancy and business advisory practice based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
As the practice continues to expand, we are now seeking to recruit a highly organised, proactive and ambitious individual to join our team in a key operational role supporting the continued growth and development of the business.
This is a newly created position within the practice and is a key strategic hire as we continue to grow and develop the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and play a key role in helping the practice scale over the coming years. In addition to operational and administrative responsibilities, the role will involve leading business improvement initiatives, helping implement new technologies and AI solutions, and driving projects that improve efficiency, client experience and overall business performance.
This is not a traditional administration role. It is a varied and evolving position with significant long-term progression potential, including the opportunity to develop into a Practice Manager / Operations Manager role over time.
What the role will involve
· Working closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the practice
· Coordinating and driving business improvement projects
· Assisting with the implementation of new systems, technologies and AI tools
· Maintaining and improving internal processes and SOPs
· Coordinating client onboarding, engagement letters and AML requirements
· Assisting with CRO and company secretarial administration
· Supporting invoicing, billing and debtor management
· Assisting with Dext, Xero and other cloud software administration
· Supporting social media, marketing initiatives and the continued growth of our schools division
· Maintaining HR records and supporting the onboarding of new team members
· Coordinating incoming calls, client queries and general office administration
· Managing office supplies, banking, lodgements and post
· Assisting with scheduling meetings, events and internal projects
· Providing operational and organisational support to senior management

· Experience in administration, operations or professional services advantageous

This is primarily an office-based role in Letterkenny. While hybrid working is available, the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the team and management on a regular basis. Accordingly, this is not a fully remote position.
