Role Purpose
The Data Quality & Governance Manager will work across multiple businesses within the division to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usability of business data. This role helps each business understand where their data resides, how it is used, and what actions are required to maintain high standards of data quality. The role also supports and coach teams to take full ownership of their data responsibilities.
Acting as the primary data steward for the division, the Data Manager works closely with operational teams, system owners, analysts, and central data governance to embed bestpractice data management and enable highquality decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and document the current state of data quality across business systems.

Build a framework that will Identify data issues, inconsistencies, gaps, and integrity problems.

Identify system owners and process teams and define remediation plans.

Establish and track data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting standards.

Promote best practices for data capture, maintenance, and validation.

Map where critical data is created, stored, and used across each business.

Document data flows, sources of truth, and dependencies between systems.

Work with the I.S. and business teams to understand system configurations and integrations.

Maintain a clear and updated view of the divisional data landscape.

Define data ownership roles and responsibilities within each business area.

Coach business teams on the importance of data stewardship and governance.

Ensure divisional alignment with the Kingspan's Data Governance Framework, policies, and regulatory obligations. This includes the data retention policy and data classification.

Work with the business units to define data classifications in line with Kingspan governance.

Ensure that operational teams understand their accountability for data quality.

Help embed processes such as data ownership reviews, quality checks, and escalation paths.

Drive initiatives to improve data processes, systems, and quality levels.
Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of data management principles (data quality, governance, architecture).

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across multiple business units.

Ability to interpret data issues and translate them into clear business actions.

Experience working with business systems, ERPs, CRMs, or operational platforms.

Analytical mindset with problemsolving orientation.

Comfortable working both strategically and handson.
-
At least 4 years experience in a similar role.
