Following the success of our award-winning Salty Dog Ballycotton, we are excited to be bringing the brand to Cork City with the opening of our newest restaurant on MacCurtain Street.
We are now seeking an exceptional Restaurant Venue Manager to lead our new venue from launch and help create one of Cork's most exciting hospitality destinations.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

- A strong leader who can inspire, motivate, and develop teams
- Hands-on and willing to lead from the front
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
- Organised, professional, and able to perform under pressure
- Experienced in managing busy restaurant environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
- Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team
- Deliver exceptional guest service standards at all times
- Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities
- Manage labour costs, rotas, and team performance
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance
- Work closely with senior management and the kitchen team
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Play a key role in the successful launch and ongoing development of the business
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar hospitality leadership role
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
- Eligibility to work in Ireland

First-stage interviews will be held between Monday, 29th June - Sunday 5th July 2026, with successful candidates progressing to the next stage shortly thereafter.
The successful candidate will commence employment on 1st August 2026 and will play a key role in preparing the restaurant for launch.
