**Join Our Team as a Setting Out Engineer!**
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Setting Out Engineer to enhance our civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are executed accurately and in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Accurately set out civil engineering and construction works using total stations, GPS, and surveying equipment.
- Establish and maintain site control points, benchmarks, and reference points.
- Monitor levels, coordinates, dimensions, and alignment throughout the project.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data.
- Collaborate closely with site management, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct quality checks and maintain precise survey records.
- Identify and report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Assist with site surveys and compile as-built information.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in compliance with company and project protocols.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a setting out or site engineering role.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering construction and surveying principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficiency with surveying equipment, including Total Station and GPS.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant engineering or surveying qualification is preferred.
- Full driving license is desirable.
