East Village Coffee is a busy, modern speciality coffee and brunch café in Clondalkin, and we're looking for a new member to join our front of house team.
We're looking for someone with personality, energy and a genuine love of hospitality.
Someone who enjoys chatting to customers, knows how to make people feel welcome and takes pride in being part of a great team.
We're not looking for someone who just wants to clock in and clock out. We want someone who gets a buzz from a busy service, enjoys working with good people and cares about the details that make a café great.
The Role
You'll be an important part of the East Village experience, working across front of house and helping us deliver the level of service our customers have come to expect.
You'll be:
- Welcoming customers and creating a genuinely friendly atmosphere
- Taking orders and knowing our food and drinks
- Serving our brunch menu and speciality coffee
- Preparing coffee and supporting the barista team
- Keeping the café looking sharp and running smoothly
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider team during busy services
- Making sure every customer leaves having had a great experience
Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a café, restaurant or hospitality environment
- Naturally friendly, confident and comfortable talking to customers
- Energetic and positive, with a bit of personality
- Calm and switched-on when things get busy
- Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work
- A genuine team player
- Interested in speciality coffee, food and the wider café scene
Barista experience and speciality coffee skills are a big advantage.
You don't have to know everything. We're more interested in someone with the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn.
Availability
This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week.
Flexibility is essential, particularly the ability to work midweek shifts. We need someone who can become a reliable part of the team rather than someone whose availability is limited to weekends.
