Carrig County House is a family run county house and restaurant and member of Ireland's Blue Book. We have 16 bedrooms and a restaurant that caters for our residents and local visitors.
Our Head Chef Patricia Teahan who has been with us for 16 years is seeking a passionate and talented Chef de Partie Starter Section to join her team.
As Chef de Partie for the Starter Section, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity. Working closely with our Head Chef and Kitchen Team, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the starter section during service.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to an exceptional fine dining standard.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail in every plate served.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant environment.
- A genuine passion for fine dining, seasonal produce, and culinary excellence.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional approach.
