Role Description
Castle Group is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in Galway. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of health and safety systems across our projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture across project teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and monitoring company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the management of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives
- Delivering safety training and toolbox talks
- Conducting accident and incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Advising management and site teams on occupational health and safety best practices
- Working collaboratively with project teams to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction, pharmaceutical, or data centre sectors
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and EHS regulations
- Experience conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and accident investigations
- Ability to develop and implement occupational health and safety measures
- Experience delivering safety training and promoting a positive safety culture
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related discipline (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Candidates must be currently based in Ireland and hold full eligibility to work in Ireland. Please note that Castle Group does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
