Kish Fish is seeking 2 friendly café assistant/barista to join our team at Kish Fish Café in Howth, Co Dublin.
We have a full-time position with flexible hours available, onsite training, progression opportunities, and competitive salary packages.
The candidate must have experience in customer service, opening and closing, and cash handling.
Barista training is a benefit but not essential.
Working with food preparation/cooking—HACCP training provided.
Week/weekend work available.
The Role:
· Preparing and serving food from a food truck, taking orders, and handling cash
· Ensuring the food truck is fully stocked and can meet the menu at all times and notifying the supervisors if not
· Monitoring stock, wastage, and use-by dates
· Respond promptly to complaints/feedback by customers
· Uphold the highest standard of care and attention to detail at all times
· Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness, and professionalism and use your own initiative to respond quickly to issues or challenges that may arise when you are on duty.
· Clean the café food truck areas, inside and outside and ensure they are safe and hygienic at all times.
· Check that all café food truck facilities, equipment, or furnishings are in good order and report any damage.
Experience:
· Experience of working in a café/catering environment
· HACCP food hygiene certificate
· Barista experience is desirable but not a requirement.
· Experience with working with people, cash handling, café equipment, and small cooking equipment.
