Are you an experienced Nurse looking for a fulfilling role in general practice? We are
currently seeking a Nurse to join our team, delivering high-quality, compassionate primary
care to our patient cohort.
About the Role:
Quarrypark Medical Centre is a friendly, patient-focused GP surgery located in Enniscorthy. The practice is fully computerised and has excellent administrative and GP support.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing a wide
range of nursing services and supporting the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
● Phlebotomy
● Childhood and adult vaccinations
● ECGs and ABPMs
● Wound care
● Chronic Disease Management
● Support women’s health, family planning, and health promotion initiatives
● Assist with routine and emergency patient care as needed
● Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure adherence to infection control and
clinical governance standards
● Order and stock medical supplies
Essential Requirements:
● Registered Nurse with current NMBI pin
● Minimum 2 years post-registration experience (primary care experience desirable)
● Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
● A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
Desirable Requirements:
● Experience in a GP practice or primary care setting
● Perform cervical smears (Cervical Check registered)
