Seamstress experience preferable, but not necessary.
Will need to help the customers in store to find what they are looking for.
Helping communion age children try on the communion dresses.
Helping them choose matching accessories.
Taking measurements and notes of any special requests.
Helping the customer have a great and comfortable experience.
Keeping the store clean at all times.
Cleaning the showroom often and whenever needed.
Checking on stock and restocking them for display.
Helping the seamstress when needed.
Steaming the dresses and having them ready for fittings.
Ability to handle heavy bespoke dresses.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team. Helping team members whenever needed.
Checking the alterations are completed and ready before fittings.
14:15 - 17 per hour depending on previous experience in the same role.
Confident and well presented at all times.
Problem handling skills.
Your working hours will vary according to the operational needs of the business. The Employer guarantees a minimum of 3 hours of work per week. Due to the seasonal nature of the business, working hours will normally be as follows: -
-Off-season (June, July, August and December): Employees will normally work between 3 and 11 hours per week, depending on business requirements.
- Peak season (September to November and January to May): Employees may be rostered to work between 15 and 40 hours per week, depending on customers.
Due to the seasonal nature of the business, annual leave will not normally be approved during the peak trading period of March, April and May. Employees are encouraged to take annual leave outside these months.
Flexibility to work during weekdays and the weekends.
AVAILABLE TO WORK EVERY WEEKEND.
