Job title: Maintenance Manager

Hotel Isaacs are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to ensure the property is maintained to the highest possible standards. Main duties include:
- To supervise and provide general maintenance.
- To supervise plumbers, electricians and other outside contractors to ensure that work is completed to a satisfactory standard and place of work is returned to order.
- Door key management for the property.
- To set a good example for your team with regards to application to work, work attitude, personal presentation, punctuality and attendance.
- To uphold the company’s ethos on customer care by ensuring that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner and are detailed to the General Manager as appropriate.
- To attend management meetings or informal meetings arranged to address maintenance issues.
- To inform the General Manager when maintenance requests have been attended to and resolved.
- To draw up maintenance plans and schedules for the property with the relevant Manager.
- To assist with redecoration programmes and help to co-ordinate same.
- To be responsible for the control of expenditure for maintenance repairs, renewals and supplies, in liaison with the General Manager.
- To control labour costs keeping them within budget at all times.
- To check delivery dockets against invoices for all purchases.
- To ensure all team members are aware and comply with company and statutory requirements relating to hygiene, fire, health and safety, and emergency procedures.
- To record all accidents and report them to the Health & Safety Officer.
- To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures.
- To ensure that all the units are secure and safe in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
-Minimum five years of experience in similar role
