Project Manager

Applicants must be living in Ireland and have a minimum of 5 years Irish Construction experience.
Our client, an established Building & Civil Engineering Contractor, is hiring a Contracts / Project Manager to take full ownership of project delivery from handover through to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on keeping a project on programme, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality and safety.
What you'll be doing
Contract Management
- Prepare and own the Site Quality Plan and project programme
- Support and monitor the Site Manager to ensure the Quality Plan is being delivered
- Keep site documentation current, including progress reports, programmes, RFIs and CVIs
- Chair site meetings, ensure accurate minutes and follow through on actions
- Notify design teams and subcontractors in writing of any project delays
- Lead subcontractor meetings from appointment through to completion, evaluating performance at each stage
- Coordinate labour resourcing across sites
Programme & Handover
- Oversee procurement and reconciliation of materials and subcontractors to avoid delays
- Chair post-contract handover meetings and ensure post-award procedures are followed
Client & Design Team Relationships
- Act as the key point of contact for clients and design teams throughout the project
- Lead design team meetings and report on progress
- Manage works with consideration for the surrounding community
Health, Safety & Quality
- Set the standard for HS&E leadership on site, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and legal obligations
- Keep H&S documentation current and lead senior management site inspections
- Promote quality standards in line with ISO accreditation
What you'll bring
- Working knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
- Working knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007
- Working knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013
- Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations
- Proven experience managing contracts, programmes and subcontractors on building or civil engineering projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills, comfortable liaising with clients, design teams and site staff alike
