At Apleona, we are currently recruiting for a dynamic Facilities Engineer to join our team in Limerick City.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30
Main duties and responsibilities

Oversee all on-site Facilities Management activities and services ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations with client.

Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance across the site

Willing ownership of the PPM planner and manage/maintain the CAFM system
- Oversee subcontractor performance and service delivery

Govern regular client and internal meetings, review operational metrics

Negotiate and agree SLAs with suppliers

Ensure adequate staffing coverage and training plans are in place
-
Lead and support personnel development and technical training initiative

Oversee Soft Services Delivery by leading the respective supervisors.

Assist staff in executing duties as outlined on PPM and reactive Work Order requests.

Ensure the timely execution of all Work Orders and ensure Service Inspections are carried out in detail, documented and executed efficiently

Co-ordinate all contractors that attend site and ensure all the relevant documentation is in place prior to work commencement.

Knows and ensures consistent compliance with companies Health, Safety & Quality policies and procedures.

Co-ordinate the TPI and TPU usage and ensure a timely submission to finance on completion. Ensuring recording of TPI & TPU.

Ensure efficient management of all utilities, monitor and document consumption levels.

Ensure efficient stock management and maintain sufficient levels of cleaning chemicals and consumables.

Ensure high standards of cleaning at all times in accordance with the company cleaning policy.

Ensure efficient management of the Asset register. Ensuring all damaged FF&E is recorded and reported.

Ensure any accidental and wilful damage is recorded and reported promptly.

Ensure all staff is wearing the correct uniform and PPE at all times.

Manage Time and Attendance records, manage and sign off on Annual leave requests, manage sick leave, staff queries.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management)
-
Proven experience in facilities operations, compliance, and contractor management
-
Strong working knowledge of CAFM systems and performance metrics

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skill
-
A minimum of 5 year's experience coordinating Hard and Soft Facilities Services.

Experience in managing people.

Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation
