Experienced & Passionate Baker Wanted – O'Donohues Bakery, Tullamore
We are a proud, BRCGS-certified bread manufacturing bakery based in Tullamore, known for our commitment to quality, tradition, and innovation.
We’re currently looking for an experienced and passionate baker to join our team. This is a key role for someone who not only understands the craft of bread making but is also excited about contributing ideas and helping us develop new products — while ensuring the smooth running of daily production.
Usual hours on the dayshift are between 6am -2pm. Times vary depending on weekly and daily workload demand.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in bread baking, ideally in a commercial or manufacturing environment minimum 4 years.
Strong understanding of the full baking process: weighing up, mixing, proving, baking
Familiarity with food safety standards — BRCGS knowledge is a strong advantage
A creative mindset and a passion for baking — we welcome new ideas and innovation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing daily bread production to meet quality and quantity targets
Following recipes and procedures with precision and consistency
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Collaborating with the team on new product development
Operating and maintaining bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
