Key Responsibilities
- Strong organisation and record keeping skills.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
- Observe, document, and support children’s learning and progress
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements are followed
Requirements
- Desirable QQI/FETAC Level 7/8 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Early Years setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Garda Vetting required
- Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks desirable
