The Role
No two weddings are the same, making this a varied and rewarding role.
As a Wedding Childcare Professional, you'll provide high-quality care for children of all ages while creating a calm, fun and memorable experience for both children and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing warm, professional care throughout weddings and events.
- Planning and leading age-appropriate games, crafts and activities.
- Supervising children in our luxury Children's VIP Areas.
- Supporting babies and young children with feeding, changing, naps and bedtime routines where required.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and venue staff.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
- Representing The Event Edit with confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism at every event.

Essential Requirements
- QQI Level 5 (or higher) in Early Learning & Care (or recognised equivalent)
- Experience working with children
- Current Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)
- Full clean driving licence and own transport
- Friendly, confident and professional personality

Working Pattern
This is a flexible, casual position based around wedding and event bookings.
The role will primarily involve:
- Regular evening and weekend work.
- Seasonal availability, with the busiest period typically from April to October.
- Occasional overnight stays where weddings or events require it (accommodation and expenses provided where applicable).
- Travel to venues across Kerry and, from time to time, other locations throughout Ireland.
