About the Role
Tarstone Road Maintenance is seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Yard & Workshop Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our busy yard and workshop area. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing stock and workshop support duties efficiently. Must have own transport to site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out regular stock takes and monitoring inventory levels
- Assisting with stock control and ordering processes
- Auditing tools, materials, and workshop supplies
- Reporting stock discrepancies and operational updates to management
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard/workshop environment
- Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries when required
- Supporting workshop staff with ad hoc light duties
- Ensuring equipment and storage areas are kept tidy and accessible
- Completing basic paperwork and record keeping accurately

- Flexible and willing to assist with varied day-to-day tasks
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous experience in a yard, workshop, warehouse, or maintenance environment
- Forklift or manual handling experience
- Basic computer skills for stock and reporting tasks
Pay: From €27,000.00 per year
