We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Artic Lorry Driver with Moffett Loader experience to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the South East and Midlands regions, including Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wicklow, Wexford, and Tipperary.
The successful candidate will be professional, safety-conscious, and customer-focused, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an articulated lorry in accordance with road traffic regulations
- Load, unload, and deliver goods using a Moffett forklift at customer sites
- Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Carry out daily vehicle and Moffett inspections and report defects promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with weight and safety regulations
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
- Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Full C+E (Artic) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Moffett forklift licence (or proven experience)
- Digital tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years artic driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of the South East and Midlands road network
- Strong understanding of EU driving time and working time regulations
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Desirable:
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries
- Experience delivering to construction sites or commercial premises
