Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
- Organising and maintaining stock within the stores area.
- Picking and preparing components and materials for production projects.
- Monitoring inventory levels and reporting stock shortages.
- Carrying out stock counts and inventory audits.
- Maintaining accurate records using stock management systems.
- Ensuring the stores area is clean, safe, and well organised.
- Assisting with packing and dispatch of finished goods and customer orders.
- Coordinating with production, purchasing, and management teams to ensure material availability.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and experience with stock management systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or electrical environment would be an advantage.
