We are seeking an experienced Bathroom Adaptation Installer to join our team carrying out high-quality bathroom conversions and mobility adaptations for elderly, disabled and mobility-impaired customers throughout Cork and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will have strong practical experience across bathroom installation and refurbishment works, with the ability to complete projects to a high standard while working independently and professionally in customers’ homes.
This role involves delivering essential adaptations that improve safety, independence and quality of life for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete disabled bathroom adaptations and refurbishment projects
- Install accessible bathrooms, wet rooms and level access showers
- Remove existing bathroom fixtures and prepare areas for installation
- Carry out plumbing installation and alterations including:
- Shower, toilet and basin installation
- Pipework alterations
- Waste connections
- Leak testing
- Complete associated building works including:
- Tiling
- Waterproofing
- Plaster repairs
- Carpentry and finishing works
- Flooring preparation
- Install mobility equipment including:
- Grab rails
- Shower seats
- Accessibility accessories
- Complete finishing, snagging and remedial works
- Work from drawings and specifications where required
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful working environment in customers’ homes
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Experience in bathroom installation, refurbishment or construction work
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and general building works
- Ability to complete projects from preparation through to final finish
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Full clean driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience in disabled bathroom adaptations or mobility installations
- Plumbing qualification
- Tiling experience
- Carpentry experience
- Experience working on housing adaptations

Salary Guide
€40,000 – €55,000 per annum depending on experience and skill level.
Candidates with strong bathroom installation, plumbing and adaptation experience may be considered for higher rates.
Pay: €40,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
