We are currently seeking an energetic, hands-on Bar & Bistro Supervisor to help lead our team and maintain our high standards of hospitality.
The Role: As our Bar & Bistro Supervisor, you will work closely with the Bar Management team to oversee daily food and beverage operations. You will lead by example on the floor, ensuring that both our bar and bistro run seamlessly. This role requires a balance of great organisational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to train and motivate staff.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Support management by leading by example and driving an excellent guest experience.
- Service Oversight: Oversee all daily aspects of food and beverage service across both the bar and bistro.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure team members consistently deliver the highest quality drink and food service.
- Performance Standards: Maintain departmental standards in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
- Staff Development: Provide continuous corrective training and upskilling for the floor and bar team.
- Guest Relations: Handle customer queries and complaints swiftly in a friendly, professional manner and escalate to the Duty Manager when necessary.
Requirements (Mandatory)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of supervisor experience managing both a bar and a bistro/restaurant environment.
- Language: Fluent English is required for customer safety and team communication.
- Availability: Must be fully flexible to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Skillset: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.
