Quality Control Scientist
Reporting to the Production Manager
Serosep Ltd. currently are recruiting a QC Scientist to join our growing Molecular Diagnostic team. This onsite position is at our Limerick Facility. You will be responsible for performing QC testing on the molecular raw materials, lyophilised assays and SPS buffer.
Main Duties:
Perform In-coming Quality Control of Molecular Diagnostic raw materials
In process Quality Control of Molecular Diagnostics products
Batch Release Quality Control of Molecular Diagnostics and Histopot products
Maintain Quality Control records
Write, understand and implement SOPs applicable in the area
Understand and comply with the relevant GMP standards applicable to the area.
Be proactive in improving housekeeping on a continuous basis throughout the laboratories.
Essential Criteria:
B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in a GMP environment
