We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare invoices and track payments
- Assist with payroll processing
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Work closely with management to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements
- Ideally proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kells, County Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
