About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager (experience is mandatory). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, energetic, highly motivated and be a people person with a “can do” attitude.
Opportunity to work in Kinsale, 25 minutes from Cork City, one of Ireland’s most well-known Food and Tourism destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations during shifts
- Lead and support the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service
- Ensure high standards of food, drink, and customer experience
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and control
- Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety (HACCP), and health & safety regulations
- Support staff training and development
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A passion for customer service and hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
