The post of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Clinical Skills Facilitator – ICU/HDU) is a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, people management, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Clinical Skills Facilitator – ICU/HDU) will deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse/Midwife Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008strategic objectives of the organisation.
