The Good Fish Company is a leading player in the Irish fresh fish market. We are currently looking for sales assistant / fishmonger to join our shops in Douglas and Carrigaline. Previous retail and customer experience is an advantage, however full training will be provided for those without.
It is a SUMMER TIME role, shops are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. Starting salary €14.15 upwards based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with customers while offering a high level of customer service.
- Handling cash and card transactions through the till.
- Carrying out daily orders, date checks and stock counts.
- Following company procedures as well as complying with HACCP & Food Safety regulations.
- Preparing a display counter, merchandising freezers and dairy walls.
The people we are looking for will have:
- Till Sales and Customer Service.
- Hardworking, flexible and punctual
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Basic IT skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic and willingness to learn from the best in the business.
- Own transport or ability to get to both locations when needed.
