Senior Chef de Partie
Abbeyleix, Co. Laois
Do you want to be a part of something truly special and a culture that encourages growth, respect, and inspires you each day?
Omos is now open - a 16-bedroom Irish Guesthouse and 40-seat Restaurant set on 4.2 acres just outside the heritage town of Abbeyleix, County Laois.
The name Omos - meaning honour, duty, and respect - reflects our intention behind the project; to create something lasting and meaningful, something with soul. A Guesthouse and Restaurant that feel like they belong - that reflect our neighbourhood and community, and that generously welcome curiosity, craft, and discovery.
Omos prides itself on our standards, uniqueness, and our guest experience, and we are now seeking a Chef de Partie who will join our highly talented team.
Omos kitchen blends service and front of house in a seamless and collaborative manner. Our chefs assist with serving guests and explaining each dish to exacting standards.
An open kitchen is at the heart of our Restaurant, where many of our dishes feature food cooked over a wood fire. Preservation, curiosity and innovation are at the core of what we aim to achieve at Omos.
Reporting into our Head Chef, Matthew Smith and under the leadership and mentorship of both Matthew and our Executive Chef, Cuan Greene, you will have proven and demonstrable experience of working as a Chef de Partie in similar high-quality establishments with a strong focus on produce, people and craft.
You will be tasked to lead a section in our restaurant and also to take part in breakfast shifts served in the guesthouse depending on your roster.
However, alongside your experience, we seek someone who is kind, organised, who enjoys a collaborative environment, wishes to grow and has meticulous attention to detail.
In return, when you join Omos, you will be joining a workplace that is nourishing, respectful, and inspiring.
