Spotlight Oral Care is a fast-growing, dentist-founded oral care brand built on a simple but powerful belief: professional oral care should be accessible to everyone, at home. Founded by Dr. Lisa and Dr. Vanessa Creaven, our products are rooted in clinical expertise and designed for people who care about their smile. We are a small, ambitious team, and every role here has real impact. Our products are stocked in leading pharmacies and retailers across Ireland, the UK, and internationally.
The Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a great first step for a talented designer who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. You will primarily support the marketing team but will also collaborate across the company on a wide range of digital and print projects.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Marketing Design
- Design campaign assets that are on-brand, visually compelling, and optimised for digital formats.
- Design day-to-day marketing emails and templates.
- Create website banners, landing page visuals, and digital advertising assets across a range of sizes and formats.
- Create social media graphics, short-form video content, and reels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms, adapting designs and formats to suit each channel.
- Stay on top of visual trends and creative approaches across social platforms, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
- Assist with the design and production of presentation decks for internal and external use.
Brand & Creative Support
- Work across teams including Marketing, Retail, and New Product Development to support with design needs as they arise.
- Contribute ideas in creative brainstorming sessions and help develop visual approaches for campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure all design output is consistent with Spotlight Oral Care brand guidelines across every format and touchpoint.
- Manage your own workload and respond with appropriate urgency when quick turnarounds are required.
- Maintain well-organised design files and assets, following team naming and filing conventions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- A degree in graphic design or a related creative discipline and a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability.
- 1 year Graphic Design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must for this role, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Ability to take direction well, interpret a brief clearly, and apply your own creative sensibility within brand guidelines.
- A strong work ethic: professional, reliable, and committed to seeing tasks through to a high standard.
- Excellent attention to detail across all design outputs.
- The ability to react quickly and deliver quality work under time pressure.
- A genuine interest in social media trends and an understanding of what works visually across different platforms.
Tools & Systems
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Drive).
- Comfortable working in Slack.
- Experience with Figma or similar tools is desirable.
- An interest in how AI tools can support and enhance the design process.
Desirable
- Experience creating video content, reels, or short-form animations for social media.
- Illustration skills
- An interest in or familiarity with the beauty, wellness, or oral care categories.
- Photography or videography experience is a plus.

You are energetic and creative, with a genuine willingness to learn. You are equally comfortable taking a well-defined brief and running with it as you are putting your hand up in a brainstorm with a left-field idea.
- Creative flair and a strong eye for design, with a style that comes through even in executional work.
- Proactive and eager to learn: you absorb feedback well and look for ways to improve.
- A natural collaborator who communicates openly and works well as part of a small, close-knit team.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
